Canine Anatomy, a Systemic Study

Donald R. Adams

2001, 3rd edition, 468 pp, VetMedEd.com - ISBN 0-9709789-0-1

This text was written to provide introductory anatomical information on the dog and cat for the first year veterinary student. The text was prepared as an adjunct to the very fine reference textbook Miller's Anatomy of the Dog, thus specific details and references were omitted.

As a dissection guide for the study of non-embalmed canine carcasses, this text is unique in its systems-based organization and in its large number of original illustrations. Published in 1986 by Iowa State University Press (ISBN 0-8138-0281-4), 1998 & 2001 by Donald R. Adams, and in 2004 by Iowa State Press, a Blackwell Publishing Company, the text is now being published electronically. You may download the entire 468 page text ($15 U.S.) or select individual units to download ($2-4/unit U.S.). Files are in PDF format.
